The personal blog of a rather bored, introverted young girl/woman, who likes: art, literature, British comedy, history, books, vintage, old adverts, classical art, Bowie, the smiths, Morrissey, black and white, old photographs, visiting museums, buying new art supplies, drinking tea and baking cakes. Goodbye and thank you

Last Saturday after work, I was feeling sad, distraught and nauseous after a day of work and a long bus ride. As I was sadly walked home, I passed our local Turkish stand, and lo’ and behold, I noticed A flash of David Bowie (I think they were showing Space Oddity on MTV) on their LCD screen. Naturally, because I so rarely hear Bowie play besides in my own house I stopped, staring at the screen and thinking ‘my God, a vision from the mighty Ziggy’.

It felt like such a magical moment, an equivalent of witnessing jesus’ face on a piece of toast for a Christian. What is my life even?
